(I used this from THE FAQs section changing the filename to that of mine?
I then saved the file by clicking on File>Save As.
I then selected All Files in the drop-down box under the heading Save As Type. In the filename/save-name I typed in ?FIFA 2003 CD1.cue? and then clicked on Save. My computer recognised this as a .cue file.
I then put BOTH files into the same folder (which only had the two files in it), and then tried to burn it with Alcohol 120%.
When I selected the .cue file it stated: ?Unrecognised file format for recording! Please insert a recognised image for file recording?.
I then became suspicious of the (supposedly) .bin file that I had downloaded, to see if it was the real deal.
First of all I noticed that the file had the icon, of a general application, when I clicked on the icon, I also noticed that it was only recognised as an Application.
Interrogating further, I viewed the Properties of this file, and under the ?Program? section I noticed that the file-name (FIFA 2003 CD1.BIN) had CONVERTED into ?FIFA 2003 CD1.BIN.exe? it also had an MS-DOS icon beside it.
So the questions I would like to have answered are:
1. Is the data typed in the .cue file correct? Or will I have to specify the details individually?
2. Is the process of how I saved my .cue file correct? If not can you PLEASE tell me how?
3. Is it normal to have .exe at the end of my .bin file? If not then how do I convert it?
4. Finally, does this seem to be a fake .bin file?
It WAS actually the .bin file, i named them wrong, i deleted the .exe through Properties, when i should have done it through EXPLORER, making sure that the file type is shown under the folder settings.
