Ok, having a DMA issue big time.

Ill try and make this long story short.

Everything had been working fine up till a month ago.

I use DVDShrink with Ahead Nero Express 5.5.10
Along side I use DVD Region + CSS for decrypt debugging

I once had Nero 5 running and I uninstalled it using the Nero Uninstaller Tool. It gave me the option of removing everything that had to do with Nero. I said yes to all.

Soon as I uninstalled all Nero words, and Nero apps, this is when I started having the DMA problems.

SO....

I uninstalled DVDShrink, Nero, and DVDRegion
Reinstalled DVDShrink, Nero Express 5.5.10, and DVDRegion

Everything seemed to work fine for about 2 months, then I started experiencing very slow burns. Like 40 mins - 4 hour waits for ONE dvd to copy and burn.

So I did some research, and read up on checking your dma settings in Device manager.

So I did. Both the primary and secondary IDE controllers were set to Dma if available.

(keep note, that in device manager, they never went to PIO mode)

So I uninstalled the Primary and Secondary devices and restarted the computer

They were found, reinstalled, checked settings, both set to DMA if available.

Went to relaunch DVDShrink and same thing. I now dont even get a chance to even burn ONE dvd anymore before it starts to slow down again.

Before it would work up to 3 dvd burns, then after the third dvd, it would poop out and start running slow again.

So Im up for suggestions.....

Well, I restarted my computer and tried again to burn a simply dvd I have and now its like DVDShrink wont even try and burn.

Soon as I click backup in DVDShrink the program freezes and 5 minutes later it comes up saying its going to take 4 hours for the backup to complete instead of the usual 22 mins.

WTF
