where can i buy hd loader??

i have a ps2 unmodded and got a network adapter and 80gigs of hd (western digital) all i need is a hd loader and was wondering which one is the best and if there is a store we can purchase it besides online. i am pretty sure it the v4 version ...

i do not think you will find any stores that are not online where you can buy it. At least i have never seen it in a store.
Not real sure why. I can see Swap Magic because it is used to boot back up copies which is illegal.
But HD Loader and HD ADvbanced are just used to run hard drives which the PS2 is made for having.

correct, it is 2 discs.
one for CD based games and one for DVD based games
there is a section on a PS2 game that no burner can copy
Swap Magic and mod chips get around this which is why they are needed to load back up discs

is it true tht modding ur ps2 eventually breaks down faster..(burn the laser or sometin)
im thinkin of doin moddin which is less hassle and a better way?

Well yea your laser would wear down even with orginals but not as much. When burning games though stick with good quality disk like sony,verbatim... it would keep your laser running longer

i geus the only way to get it more protected is with the laser protection tht u can buy if ur laser burns u allways can replace is i assume??

i would say to use the memory card exploit and use the hdloader elf and use winhiip to format your hdd, in my opinion its kinda a waste of money cuz i bought it and only used it like once until i found the elf to load HDloader off my memory card, just search the site for "memory card exploit"
