well i use verbatim disks and some games work fine (swapmagic ^^)but some games hove sum sound issue and by issues i mean tyhat on the cutscenes sumtims the sound comes before the effect and it can be kinda annoying i use my sisters laptop becuase my DVDR burners slowest speed is 6X and my sisters can burn at 2x but i usualy burn at 4x anyway even wit 2x its the same result btw i dont change book type because i dont know how to change it on Nero iv tried all the forums but for sum reson it wont allow me to change it and wit DVD Decrypter i still cant change it cause the model number isent in there is this the resons fror the sound errors or is it sumthing else help please

depends, that is very little information to go on.
DVDr doesn't tell anyone anything.
Are they 8X DVD+R or 8X DVD-R or so on?
because as i am sure you know you can only booktype a DVD+R and you would booktype it to DVD-Rom. And only some burners can do it.
I would not use Nero for game, some people do but DVD Decrypter is just better all around for doing them.
Burning at 4X is fine if you use 8X discs.

First thing i would try is updating the burners firmware
then if you still get bad results i would say it is time to spend $40 and get a good DVD burner(BenQ DW1655) for your PC. Not sure a laptop will work great for doing games as they usually tend to have burners that are not real great and very little RAM.
