I used DVDFab Decrypter 3.0.2.0 for Cars and ripped it to disk no problem (default settings). I then opened the files in VobBlanker 2.1.1.0, left default settings, chose to process all. It finished VTS_04, starts VTS_05 but crashes. Dialogue shows Opening IFO, Processing VOB menus, Preparing Phase, Menu VOB Writing Phase, Keeping cell VID/CID 01/01 --> 01/01. Warning: Packs unsychronized . Skipping Packs. Then the crash. Reproducable every time. Any suggestions? I am using Win XP SP2, 3.0 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM.
Keep up with the latest DVDFab Decrypter releases; Cars isn't out here in UK yet so don't know what version is needed for this movie, but very latest version is 3.0.3.8 Beta - always keep up with the (frequent) updates and you can always keep the exe install file for each version on your hard disc in case you have problems with latest version; just uninstall and install a previous version and see if you have better luck. (i haven't had problems like that so it's a 'just in case').
I only ever use DVDFab Decrypter followed by DVD Shrink or just DVD Shrink on it's own; if ever i find a need to use stuff like VobBlanker (rarely) it's due to a film being too new for DVDFab Decrypter ie i had problems with the Break-Up the other day - 3.0.3.5 was causing Shrink to barf, tried 3.0.3.7 Beta and it was fine..
