I just started trying to burn backups of games and im having no luck. i downloaded CALL OF DUTY 3 PAL DAGGER and i have a NTSC modded hitachi xbox and when it was done i burned the dvd file onto a verbatim dual layer 8.5 GB and when i put it in the 360 it makes a clicking sound and goes to the dashboard and says unplayable disk.

im using the
Manufacturer: ATAPI
Product: DVD LS 8X16X8X16

is this drive ok to use?If not can someone give the name of a cheap one i can just go buy at a store and not have to order it online? thanks

P.S I live in New York and I dont think the Pioneer 111D is sold anywhere in stores

Easy solution if you're willing to downgrade your firmware. Use Birdy 2.2 Fixed flasher with mediacheck2 and it'll work. I guarantee it. Something is wrong with opa2.3 stealth. I think the mediapatch isn't working for some burners that DO work with the birdy flasher even though they use the same mediapatch.

The clicking of the 360 drive when you boot the game tells me that your burner (which you are asking about) isn't the problem but the firmware is.
