I know how to format it again, but you´ll lose all saves.
And...i´m affraid you have to start your game again, you can´t do anything wiyh corrupted data but delete it.
(sometimes the console doesn´t want to do it) and is when you must format

The best is if you have 2 memory card, you can save on both, one in each socket, and if necessary, after formating one you can copy the data from one to another, and have two saves again.
You can download the necessary tool from E-mule, it´s named "mckiller", it takes just a few hours to download.

I think you must register yourself on "e-mule" site to access this.
After download it , just burn, like you do with backups.

That's cool.
hey, i used to have this dex drive for the ps1, was a great tool to backup your memory card saves to PC, giving you infinite space + ability to download saves - anyone know of such a device for PS2?
