In the dvd media biz dirt cheap is synonymous with problem prone. So if you're feeling lucky go get 'em.
I wouldn't waste my time using them even if they were free.

hehe, I was about to ask about this brand as well. This is the best deal I've found in my area/city so far. I called and asked to see if I could get maybe 5 or 10 of them but, I was told no however, the sales rep told me he's gonna look around and talk to suppliers since it is later in the work day and most of them are closed. I will be calling him back tomorrow to see if I can get 5 or 10. I'll keep you updated Iannigan. Tosca, can you tell me where you can get these riteks for 1.40??? is this 1.40cdn or US and is it after taxes and shipping?? the cheapest I found riteks around here is about $2(after taxes) which isn't too bad but, the cheaper I can get them for the better!

that would be ok if I lived in the US... lets see $35US/spindle = about 50cdn + tax and customs/duty who knows how much they'll end up costing. As for the PowerUp brand from tigerdirect (in canada) I followed up and the sales rep told me he can't get individuals which means I won't be trying them, secondly he told me they will stop selling cd or DVD media (in canada) because they have to pay an extra "levy". but, he said something about being able to order from supplier so I'm assuming he meant they will send straight from supplier to your home?!?!

Hey Oriphus,
Is that iust a personal opinion or have you tried these discs? I started this thread to see if anybody has used them, not if tigerdirect as a company sucks. This could be the deal burners have been waiting for. Maybe they are just as good as sony's. We won't know until somebody tries them.

It can help you through life if you have a good sense of humour too. Some people dont appreciate mine on this forum, but everyone is different. Glad you found it funny. Thanks
My advice would be that you stick with what you know is good. Riteks
