burn avi to dual layer

i used imgburn to try and burn converted AVI files to a dual layer disc, but i am getting errors, and I have no idea what the error is or what it means can someone help please??
The error reads:

I/O Error!

Device:[0:0:0] Mad dog md-16xDVD9 2.F6(G:)(USB)

SciStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition

CDB: BF 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00 0C 00 00
Interpretation: Send DVD Structure - DVD+R DL Boundry Inforamtion

Sense Area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 26 00 00 80 00 04
Intrepretation: Invalid Field in Pararmeter List
