DUAL LAYER dvd burners for backups ?

It's been suggested that I'll need a DVD DUAL LAYER burner that supports DVD-ROM BITSETTING. The thread mentions specifically the Pioneer 111D or a LG H10N burner. These however do not do the lightscribe stuff. I was thinking this lightscribe technology might come in handy ? So are there other possible burner options that work really great? What are the BEST ??

you have to use DVD+R DL. Im not sure which litescribe burners will work... but just make sure its set to DVD-ROM!
