Title kinda explains it all, Im trying to softmod my xbox, But it keeps giving me a Read error, then all the files are erased from it. So I decided to let the xbox format the drive then I'd try to put the files onto it, but my computer won't let me put them on, it keeps asking me if I would like to format the drive. Anyway to get by this?

I've tried that, when the xbox formats it, all the files from the flash drive are erased

Now that it's XBox formatted, download AR Max software, and connect to it, find your flash drive's USB ID through your hardware list. Then go into the AR Max .ini configuration file, and edit the USB ID it is expecting for the XBox memory card, into what YOURS is. Then you can use ARMax to copy the files onto the formatted memory card of your choice, and the xbox will read it properly.
