I just bought a Centrios duw1616 dvd writer, when i put a burnt cd with music movies or games it will work fine, if i put a cd-rom it will work fine but when i put a blank dvd or a blank cd or a regular dvd in the light just stays on for a minute then flashes, in windows explorer it says there is no disc in the drive or when i try to burn it says there no disc,when i use Nero infotool it says there is a blank disc in at least, anyone have any suggestions??

It can play any type of media on a cd, like cd roms, programs, music cd's. ps2 games . on Nero info tool if i put a blank dvd in it says theres a blank disc in, but on windows explorer or any other program says theres no disc, also cant burn music on to a blank cd in media player or any other program.
actually just took it back today and got a samsung instead, this one works perfect, thanks for all your help though, its good to see sites like this where idiots like me can get help from people who know what they are talking about
