First, you'll need a USB HDD formated to FAT, FAT32 or NTFS(USBextreme only). Then you'll need a loader such as USB Advance or USB Extreme. Now I've never actually loaded a game due to not have a drive I can format but I got USB Advance to load on my v14 PS2.
Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

How can I load the USB Advance or USB Extreme? Should I burn it to the CD or DVD? If do, hope you can give some instructions. (I had downloaded the USB Advance, it contain the following files - usba.nfo, usb-advance.bin, usb-advance.cue, USDAdvance-PC-Software.zip).
Had read few articles, but can't found anything yet. Hope you can help.
You can buy USB extreme that will load with a mod chip or swap disk. You can burn USB Advance to a CD but it needs a bootup method such as a modchip or swap magic.

honestly don't even waste your time or money on it, its not worth it, most of the games that you would want to put on the hard drive probably wont work, it does however work ok with older games, if you have the old ps2 not the slim one, get hdadvance3 if not then i suggest just getting it chipped or using swap discs and making your own back up of games.

Yeah this really is the best solution. USBAdvance/extreme is very buggy and not very compatible with games. Last I checked it had like a 5% compatibility
