Hi,
I finally bought myself a 360.Now after looking at some photos online i am fairly certain i have a toshiba-samsung drive.The manufacturer date is 2006-04-12.I just have a few questions:

1.How long should i wait before getting my drive flashed,should i wait a few weeks to see if the console is faulty in any way or would i know by now if it had any problems?(ive had it four days)

2.Is there any simple way to flash the drive,like a cd with software on it,or is it a more complex process?

3.Yesterday i was just playing pro evo 6 with my brother when he accidently banged off the console.we continued playing for about five minutes but then a error message came up saying ''disc unreadable please clean etc...''. So i popped out the disc to see a perfectly formed circular scratch on the disc.I returned it and they gave me a new copy of the game but does this happen often??Is the 360 that tempermental??

1. Id say a few weeks to make sure you xbox is not defected.
2. No, not yet. You have to open it. Hopefully a softmod soon using the backwards compadabilty program.
3.When you play your 360, dont even think about moving it, The slightest move can scratch the cd.

My 360 sorta freezes sometimes it has happend three times. Once it nba live 07 and twice in carbon. I think I had left it on for awhile and started playing again. Is this anything to worry about?
