i searched the site! but theres so many different topics about the hitachi i cant seem to find any the link to a firmware tut, so if som 1 could post a link itd be awesome. Also whats the newest working hitachi FW? thx

check out xbox scene.. they have all the tuts you will need to flash your drive..

ok i think i've got everything i need to flash my hitachi, the 360 is hooked up to the pc i use to flash, but b4 i try atempt to flash it i want to make sure i have everything righ... so if my 360 is connected to my onboard sata port and its the olny drive cconnected aside from my ide dvd-rom. so once i boot up slax it should go into modeb correct?

Slax works with certain chipsets, if you see the message "modeB - thanks to kev" then yeah it's in modeB. If not, you need a different method for modeB
