Hello,
I recently ripped a movie with DVD2Onex and when it ripped, it ended up being 4.4Gb on the disk. However, Toast says it can only burn to 4.36 Gb discs. Furthermore, when I pop it in the DVD player it just spins and reads the disc forever but doesn't play, but in my Powerbook it plays it like a movie right away...the movie is Old School. Any thoughts?

I ripped a DVD (Catch Me If You Can) using DVDoneX to 4.4 gig and burn to DVDr using Toast with no problems on my eMac and a Lacie firewire DVD writer. The only thing I found was that the burnt DVD didn't seem to be recognised in my eMac, but played fine on a standard DVD player. Silly question, I know, bit are you using the latest version of Toast, and are you selecting DVD from the "other..." option? Also, are you choosing "New DVD" and naming it the same as the orig before burning?
