Hi, I recently purchased Serif MoviePlus5 to edit camcorder, video and DVD footage prior to burning to DVD.
I've had no problems with the video and camcorder footage (after purchasing additional hardware to attach the stand alones to my pc) and I recently sorted out a problem I had with getting DVD's copied from my Sky+ box onto DVD that would not play on my PC (Oh stupid me!).
Now, I am reliably informed by Serif, the editing software I have will not read the footage that I have downloaded from the DVD's!! AAHHHHHHHH!
I get 2 seconds of video - with audio, or after a patch from them (which they have now reversed) all the video but no sound at all.
I captured onto the pc using Roxio EasyCopyDVD2. It plays fine in the cineplayer that came as part of the Roxio software. It plays find in Windows Media Player. It just won't play in the MoviePlus 5. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone know how to fix it cos Serif obviously don't.
