hi ive read so many places online and watched videos that say more ps3 will hit the shops this week is it true i need to know so i can tell my uncle who is getting my ps3 for me please any help i know there has been
previous threads nothing that is very conclusive tho
PS3 brilliant ive got a 20gb jap here in the uk to high customs tho £92.90 and the step down was 45 quid oh well its awsome

other consoles (360)
PC AMD ATHALON 1.6GHZ AND FAST AS A P4 256 PCI EXPRESS ATI GRAPHICS (X550)

eb games and gamestop are holding theirs until Black Friday/day after thanksgiving ...so there you go they open i think at 6 am or something. Best Buy will have some too. So there you go, do your thing.ill be at best buy at 4:30am . good luck

does it count for best buy in canada and if so how many units will be released will it be the rest of the 200,000 units or just a portion how many will each store get

hmm i have a raincheck for one at walmart i wonder if they'll get them in. One employee waiting said they get deliverys wendsdays and fridays so hopefully. That will be kool on black friday if best buy has em cause i was gonna do an over nighter there ne ways just to get sick deals from the leaked ads that i saw.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |

Sweet well one of the guys who was waiting in line for the ps3 with us. Said that he gets shipments in tommorow and friday. So hopefully I will have mine tommorow if walmart gets some. If not it will be by the first week of december the manager said. It can be anytime.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

will futureshop get any on friday in canada? do you thinks their will be lines for a store that is getting only 8 units 6x 60gb versions and 2x 20gb versions? i am planing to go at 2 or 3am in the morning to get one do think i will get the 60gb version or not?

Being black friday all over the usa idk if u guys have it in canada. There are going to be lines pretty much at every store because people want to get sweet deals. So if you know futureshop is getting them I would be there early for sure.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

Well I have my raincheck at walmart for a 60gb PS3. When it comes in it will be held for 48hrs. Well 5 minutes ago I was called and they told me they got 2 20's in and offered me one. I turned them down though because I want a 60.
But this is news that more PS3's are coming in. So just hold on and call around your local stores.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

I just got a 20GB PS3 thanks to a tip on here (another thread). As soon as I read that there will be more shipments coming today and Friday, I called the nearest Best Buy. They said they just put them out but they were going real fast. I sped down there and got 1 20GB. My plan was to buy 2 or 3 60s and keep one, but they were out of 60s. Then I made the stupid decision not to get another 20GB thinking I could snag a 60 at another store. I was wrong. I called every electronic/game store in town and no luck. Only 2 other BB had them, and they were out too. Ugh. I'm going to keep up the hunt for the 60GB, but I'm probably SOL now that the Christmas shopping madness is going to start. I also now have a PS3 sitting next to me begging me to play it.

i called my local bestbuy and they said they don't know if they are getting the ps3's.
Can someone tell me if bestbuy is getting ps3's this friday and same for futureshop
how many units do you think each store will get? the store that i am planning to get the ps3 from got 10 on the launch day 7x 60gb and 3x 20gb how many will they get this time?
plz even give rough estimate!

My guess is it's near impossible to find that out. I have asked everywhere I called and they say they are not sure when the shipments will come. Some estimated a few weeks, others said after Christmas. I don't think they know. You just have to call/go there early. All I know is I'm going to hit the BBuys that did not get them today on Friday. I doubt the ones that got them today will also get more Friday, unless they're holding some in the back.

Since I have this site to thank for the tip that led to me getting a PS3 today, I'll share my assumptions about where to find PS3s next.
In my city, all the Best Buys got PS3s today (sold out in minutes, I got lucky) and some Gamestops (but they were only offering them to pre-orderers). I called all the other big stores and no one else said they got any (I called again before closing to make sure). It doesn't make sense Sony would only ship extras to Best Buy and Gamestop, so I'm guessing those shipments either arrived and they're waiting for Black Friday or they should be coming within the next few days. I'm sure since Best Buy seems to be getting the most, they may be getting more semi-secret shipments. I know I'll be at Circuit City and Toys R Us on Black Friday though. I really just want a 60GB one for myself at this point.
