Oblivion Freezing Problem

Has anyone here had this problem?

How about freezing probs with other games and overheating?

I'm considering purchasing a 360 but was a bit alarmed by some posts I saw on XBOX.COM forums.

Just want to know if this was only a prob with the early consoles.

Just because you read that on a forum, don't think for a second that it happens to every single console out there. That's not to say it doesn't happen though, but a lot of first-generation consoles have bugs and overheating problems.

Yesterday it was 30 degrees where I am. I played Call of Duty 3, Gears of War, and Perfect Dark nearly all day because I was sick in bed. If my 360 was going to overheat, then it would have yesterday.

My 360 has only frozen once, during Saints Row.

I got mine on the Australian launch, and the only real breakdown I had was when I stupidly kept switching between the VGA cable and the standard cables (I was new to High-Definition and I wanted to compare the differences lol).

out of the 20 hours i have played oblivion it froze twice. Out of the 100+ hours playing the 360 total it frooze twice.

Yeah? lol. Fan boys miss out. I'm getting all three. The 360 is cool for music, games, movies, online, etc; the PS3 looks good for some games and maybe Blu-Ray; and the Wii will be innovative with the controller.
