i know on the Wii you can download NES and sega and etc can you do this on the ps3?

At the time NO because the PS3 has not been out that long but Sony did say that the PS3 was going to offer old PS1 & 2 games to download if this is what you asking...

Wow download ps2 games. Those would be awfully large i would think to wait around for. It would be no different then hda. I hope the ps3 gets hacked badly. But with $ony's updating a new hack can be blocked from a simple update through a game someone bought who wants to play it.

I think that it's just plain out stupid you already can't play the old games on the PS3, thats another reason the PS2 was a bit better than the 3.

i love playstation but man i love the old age games i think ill be buying a nintendo just for the older games and buy a ps3 when its actually available.

you could just softmod your xbox and play all classic ps1 nes snes n64 sega and such on xbox

what a softmod? phew hevens no when you mod it either sofmod(software wise) or modchip ( hardware wise) ur really unlocking its true poteitiol

www.xbox-hq.com/html is all you need to know at this point even better then xbox-scene
