Hi, got my new xbox 360 xtreme after i killed my last one following the fall update. I had a Samsung ms28 previously and i got the error code 66 and my contact couldn't get it back to original firmware or reflash so it is dead. Got my new xtreme today and want to be 100% before going on live. I have a samsung drive (not sure if ms25 or ms28 til i open it up)and i basically want to know how i can get on live without fear of it dying again. I was told that all ms25 are fine and it will not be bricked when i update, obviously ms28's can die because mine had. Is it the case that all ms25's are good to update?
