I was thinking about buying the game today. the only question i have is did they make this game with a dummy ss file so my hacked xbox hitachi drive wont read the original like it does with GOW and tiger 07.

Probably. It's made by EA. Update your firmware and you'll be fine.

for some reason though ea didnt put in the dummy ss for need for speed carbon. also i didnt do the firmware hack, i paid someone and he wanted to charge me to upgrade it. so i was just seeing if anybody has already tried superman

I have TW07 and GOW AND Superman and no issue with my drive firmware at all.

superman returns the game sucks anyway,played it today from rental and its a big steaming turd of a game..followed closely by the mediocre movie

Movie would've been decent if it was more of an action flick instead of some sappy love story. I'm not even going to try the game.
