Yes! Something like that but with swap magic you cannot just download it you must buy a copy online, I can't remember if the utopia boot disc required a way to keep the disc running even when the lid is open but you also have to do that with swap magic.

Dude you cannot run a burnt copy of swap magic, It is not a normal disc it is made on a special burner/method which as i said is not sold or has been revealed yet... If you download it it will just say invalid disc but i guess it's your disc your wasting not mine, If there was a way to just burn and use swap magic then we wouldn't need swap magic because we could load any game without it... Well if you would like it to be professional you could order a 3 peice set called "Magic keys 2" for your slim ps2 but i didn't buy it i've been using tape & tissue and used this pretty easy picture guide: http://www.geocities.com/pstwoslimline/tapetissue.htm So basically if you do as it says then all you will need is swap magic 3.6 (I'm sure you have tape and tissue around lol) Hope it works out for you =)

Any kind of tape is fine... I used masking tape for mine all you have to do is open it and cover the tiny piece shown in the picture with a little piece of tape, that's all.

Sorry bro but i have no camera at the moment but it's pretty easy just open the PS2 up like the pictures on the link i gave you shows and cover this piece http://www.geocities.com/pstwoslimline/pic2.jpg with a tiny bit of tape like it shows there and close it back up, no need to take anything apart or anything.

It makes the PS2 think the lid is closed so that you can swap the swap magic with the backup/burnt copy...

When you buy swap magic there will be no need to copy it unless you have a lower version and want to use that to load a higher version since the copy will not boot by itself
