WinXP x64 wont accept 32 bit WinXP serials/keys. If you have XP x64 on cd, you shoulda gotten a serial/key with it, shouldnt need your old one.

Anyway, I seem to recall MS having an offer to 'trade in' your 32 bit WinXP serial/key in exchange for a XP x64 key. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/upgrade/default.mspx - MS ended the offer already
