Hey everybody.

I'm hoping someone on here maybe has a clue what is wrong with my Xbox 360 network.

Basically I have a 4 port switch hub which my pc and cable modem are connected to via RJ45 ethernet cables, all works fine using the net through the pc.
My xb360 is also connected to the hub but when testing the settings on the console it fails.

If I test Xbox Live it fails at DNS (IP passes test)
If I test media connection it fails at PC Selected.
If I connect the xb direct to the modem it connects to xbox live no problem.

To be honest I am not overly fussed about connecting to xblive all the time but I am more interested in linking my pc up so I can stream music and video's etc.. through the 360.

On the pc I have got Media Player 10 however the 360 does not appear in the list when I click on share media, I've tried removing the cable connection altogether, turning off the firewall and just trying to get the pc and 360 to talk to each other but still nothing.
The hub is a simple switching hub and has no settings that can be changed.

Any help would be most appreciated, thank you.
