ok so i have followed the instructions as they say with my ta082 v2.71 psp.
at this stage i have now got into the dev hook and changed it to a 1.5 ok .
problem now is in the tutorial it says go into henc and boot that , which will allow me to enter devhook and change to 2.71.
however when i get to henc i cant boot from that , it just comes up 1 image and displays it .
when i booted from henc first of all when i was changing the firmware henc caused the screen to go blue and rebooty like it should now . but for some reason it dont therefor i cant access the devhook,
help please

1.Hard reset your PSP so that you go back to firmware 2.71
2.Then go to PHOTO and open the HENC picture.
3.If your PSP doesn't go blue/green then try do the same thing again until you get it.
4.When you get it to the blue screen, then go to GAME-->Memory STick and select DevHook and run it.
BTW what do you want to do? run an ISO or homebrew?

Ok then do this:
1.Put your ISO in X:\ISO\ where X is the drive letter of your memory stick
2.Hard reset your PSP so that you go back to firmware 2.71
3.Then go to PHOTO and open the HENC picture.
4.If your PSP doesn't go blue/green then try do the same thing again until you get it.
5.When you get it to the blue screen, then go to GAME-->Memory STick and select DevHook and run it.
6.Click on firmware and select 2.71
7.Click on UMD SELECT and select your ISO
8.Then click on Start

No it doesn't say that in the tutorial.
Are you sure you used the right settings, and a UMD disc is not inserted?

First of all, thanks for the info, without people like you, I would not even try this. I like Leekop, am a newbie (with PSPs not computers) and I am having issues. I followed the same instructions and I am getting similar results.
System: TA082 - 2.71 firware PSP.
HENC-DEVLAUNCHER271 installed - no errors.
No UMD Disk inserted
I follow your instructions (at step 6, I choose 2.71 (Flash) - is this OK) but after clicking Start, the PSP just shuts down after a few seconds and never turns back up. When I restart it, I still don't have any options to play the ISOs...
Can you figure out what the issue is from this info?

No Leekop, you stay in your 2.71 and go to your photo folder and open henc and then you start up devhook..and it should work
