I've tried burning at 4x and at max with and wthout dummy file included. I need to have toxicbios installed, i dont own a HDD.
With the hardware installation everything has gone well, first i'd like to know if my chip is working... how? How should i install my flash upgrade? try oter media?

after install. hold square and turn on the system it should say DMS4 Disable Restart ps2 now on a black screen or something like that if it doesnt show something is installed incorrectly. If u have DMS 4 Pro install toxic os if u have dms 4 lite install toxic bios. burn it and stick it in it should boot up.

getting the disabled message doesn't mean the chip is successfully installed, it simply means you have 4 of the BIOS wires in the correct location and a good connection of those 4. you didn't say what happens when you try to boot the flash disc, do you get a RSOD or what does it do/not do?

without more information it's really hard to just guess what the problem may be, try booting in backup mode and try to flash it again, if Toxic still won't flash,burn the original DMS flash to disc and see if you can reflash with the original BIOS. again you may have to try in backup mode. if the DMS flash doesn't work then it's most likely a bad installation. one of which can be the sync wire being to long and not laying flat against the MOBO.
