is there actually a risk with this, because everywhere where is says something about flashing your drive it says "xbox live compatable at your own risk"

has anyone had a problem with this?

and how can Microsoft find out anyway, and what happens when they do??

any help will be appreciated thanks...

They say that on the chance MS can detect flashed drives and ban you. It's been 9 months since the 1st flash drive and 6 months since the general public started flashing drives. There have been no bans as of yet despite a dashboard update and a server upgrade. So there you go.
