Hey,

I have a 108 and it has made some fine backups but I have had problems with some others. Should I buy the 111D? Is it any better?

Thanks.

The 111d is probaby the highest rated drive for 360 backups, however I have heard many many people saying that their drives have died after as little as 3 months and thats not with a lot of burning too. In fairness, these drives are as cheap as chips these days so replacing shouldnt be so much of an issue.

I have the NEC 4570 and its been flawless for 360 backups, regardless of what media I use. People have their own preferences but I would recommend the NEC where as many happy 360 owners would highly recommend the pioneer.

Probably because what you are offering is illegal, and I'm sure AfterDawn don't want to be caught up in malfeasance.
