how does the swap magic work?? and i have a matrix infinity mod for my slim ps2 and it stopped playing my modded games. the sign of the infinity still shows up under the playstation 2 sign. i need to know how to reset it. i tryed holding the reset button for five seconds, but it didnt work. i dont know whats up with it.

Check and make sure that none of the wires havnt broken of the board, if they have they will need re-soldering, have you tried to re-flash the chip?

Swap Magic basically loads up the ps2 pass the security check, once it gets to this point, the disk stops spinning, and allows you to put your backup in, you then hit X/O to play your backup. It basically bypasses the macrovision protection.

what do u mean by broken off the board??? how do u reflassh the chip???

You download the firmware, and burn it to a disk, you then run it.

The chip is soldered to the motherboard, one of the wires could have come loose.

where can i get firmware, and when i burn it to a disc, it has to be on a dvd disc rite? and like what does it mmean to reflash a modchip, does it mean to like restart it??? thanks

Reflashing means your re-installing the firmware, firmware is what runs the chip, its similar to software. You have to burn it to a cd-r.
