Any XviD codec should do. Try this one: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/xvid.cfm You may also consider FDDSHOW: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/ffdshow.cfm

You say green fragmented video... i think i know exactly of the copy you have... i think a simple dose of FDDSHOW should fix that up
