Can U put RE OUTBREAK on a fake HDD to speed up load times

I want to put RE Outbreak on my fake ps2 HDD offically (through the main menu of RE) to speed up load times, i know that the PS2 does not recognize this HDD, so is there N E THING i can do to get this to work, or to make the fake HDD fully ps2 compatable?
