v220 games not displaying correctly.

I used Midway 2.8 to upload a couple games to my V220. The games are compatible with my phone (128x128), but for some reason they are not displaying properly. When I open a game, the top section of my screen still displays the little toolbar that show the battery meter and signal strength which pushes the bottom section of my game down out of the screen. Does anybody have an idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
