Hey guy's im new to video editing!
My problem is that after using AVI2DVD to create a .d2v file i want to convert it with VFPIConvEN to use in VirtualDUB, for the pourpose of adding original AC3 audio, but AFPIcov wont add the d2v file for conversion.
My ? is how do you get it to work i followed the instructions in the guidline's section, but AFPIconvEN wont see the d2v file!! Am i not installing AFPIconv correctly, which is my guess, So how do you install it. I have yet to find a guidline on how to install it.
Any sugestions or link on how to install VFPIConvEN would help!!
Thanks in advance,
Drizzit

to install VFPIConvEN correctly you need to execute the .bat (batch file) that can be found in program files and in the actual VFPI folder
that nneeeds to be exe'd

Thanks guy's for the replies!!
I used the bat installer the first time, tried a # of times to install but still wouldn't convert!
Also from what i've been reading on other site it should just work after intall no need to do anything, but I get the previous mentioned error!
If any one know's what the cause of this error is please let me know.
Thanks again for the help!!

Ok got it fixed!!
The only way it would install and convert my .d2v file was if i opened DVD2AVI and left it open while i installed the VFAPIcodec!
Not sure what's up with that, but it works fine now!
Thank's for the help!!
