I am unable to decide between a Panasonic FX-50 (7.2 megas)and a Sony T50 (I think 7 megas). I want a camera easy to use. I currently have an Olympus 300 Stylus and I do not like it - too hard to use. I do like the touch screen on the Sony. Any recommendations?

Thank you,

This maybe stating the obvious, but here it is:

When choosing a camera, it is more than just a case of comparing f-numbers, lens focal lengths and mega pixels. You need to have a good play around and see if you like it. See how easy it is to take pictures, to delete pictures etc...

So, go into a shop that stocks both and ask them to show you both cameras. Have a play with them for a while. If it is a reasonable shop, they don't mind spending some time with you while you get a feel for both and then decide.

Good luck :)

I used to have the Sony DSC-150
7.2 Mg etc...Amazing, bomb proof, etc.
Now have the Sony N2, 10.1 Mg ....great

When I was choosing the most important for me was
'time to turn on', 'time to take a photo', 'battery life'

What I am demonstrating here is my knowledge of cameras and picture is crap, but I knew what I wanted. As you can see I haven't listed picture quality etc as most of my shots are taken, uploaded and printed for my mates and family to see.

Decide what you want the camera to do, i.e zoom, low light etc then use that to choose.

This site is good as you can select several cameras and compare the technical specs side by side
