I'm using windows xp home edition & I got a bug report that says "A call to an OS function failed." I was wondering if anyone knows how 2 fix this because my computer sometimes locks up & I have 2 restart it by unplugging it.

Hi - I Googled around and found:

When to many programs are running at the same time and windows resources are taxed to the limit you may receive this message.

Try running less applications at the same time

Upgrade the amount of Ram installed on the computer

Ok thanks...my x-gf who is a computer wiz says she thinks I may need 2 reinstall my windows which is a b**** but I'm gonna try some things be4 I do that.
