I got a Xbox 360, and I want to know... Do you NEED a mod chip to play burned games? I heard you didn't, but I am making sure before I start jumping to conclusions.
EDIT: I do have a Hard Drive, though.

you dont need a chip, you can flash the firmware to play backup games. but there is a chip out there if you wish to go that way. flashing the firmware is what i wouuld recommend, its free and easy.

This sucks. I took the whole thing apart, then I get to... "This, is the power supply, and here's the Serial ATA connectah."
1.) No power cord.
2.) Don't think I have that Serial ATA connecter.
3.) No money.

Well is it a Hitachi or Samsung drive? If it's a Hitachi and you live in the US, you can send me your 360 to flash.

i can do samsungs, provided its a ms25. i havent done a 28 yet, but im sure i could do it for you if you need me to.
