ps2 game wouldn't burn, help

I ripped the ps2 game call of duty 3 with DVD Decrypter v3.5.4.0 , and i got a iso and a mds or nds file (can't really remember the name). I tryed burning the mds file with DVD Decrypter but the burner just suddenly stopped at about 7 percent but the progam is still running and burning with zero kb. I really need help please

This usually is a problem with a poor,scrached media or just the disk is damaged.At look it's look right but the disk is damaged I've encouter those disks many times the burner start to burn and sudenly stop or writing at verry slow speed and then popup an error

i have the same problem with need for speed carbon, stopped burning at 86%, it gave some sort of error (faild to write to medium or something like that)
what is the best thing to do ?
a. find another iso file and burn that one ?
b. just try to burn the game again ?

the MDS file is usually what you use to burn with DVD Decrypter
have you tried burning the ISO instead?
Have you tried any other programs?
And what type of media is it (brand and speed)

i also tried to burn just the iso file.
i havn't tried another program, but iam donwloading Alcohol 120%, i heard that this is a good program to burn with.
the brand of my dvd burner is: lite on (i think), i dont know the speed of it, but i burn at the lowest speed possible.
i use TDK 1-16 speed DVD-R dvd's

i hope you have some great idea's/tips :P
