hey i need to find the codec for windows media player 9 which will allow me to watch divx movies

Well... to watch DivX movies.. you need (drum roll)... the DivX codec (http://www.divx.com)... occasionally you may need filters and crap but for the most part you just need the DivX codec.

If you open up the movie in AVICodec (http://avicodec.duby.info/), you can see what codecs you need to watch the movie and it provides you with links as to where to get those codecs.
