Hey guys, i've had my Swap Magic 3.6 disks with a fliptop lid. I've burned games ranging through Call Of Duty 3, Need for Speed Carbon, Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi etc. I burned those games on Maxell DVD-Rs and they work perfectly. However, i ran out of those dvds and decided to get new better ones. I got the new Sony Accucore 16x DVD-R's and burned them at 2x for new games such as Socom Combined Assualt and old games such as Killzone and Black. But, my PS2 makes a loud sound like the disc is hitting the case or something and the Swap Magic can't recognize the discs and it says not valid PS2 Discs. They are valid, i've tried them on emulators on my computers and they load up to the load screen however, whenever i try to play them on my PS2 when i swap a loud noise is there and can't recognize the discs. I tried zoneloader and everything idk if its the discs or the games. Call of Duty 3 worked perfectly on the new Sony discs but nothing else seems to work. I use DVD Decrypter to burn and i tried changing the white plate above the lid which didnt help. What is wrong? Please help! I'll have a video up on the weekend.

My Kingdom Hearts 2 original does not work. However, all copied games burnt on Maxell work perfectly. My Kingdom Hearts 2 original does not have any scratches. I really think that the error is from the fliptop lid.

The games might need rebuilding. Search game rebuilding and the topic will come up with full instructions.

Ive been having the same issues as well lately. My orginal copies of SvR2007 and Phantasy Star Universe have the same problem....as well as a couple of my backups. I was thinking about getting a new ps2 but I dont want to bother because it may be a media issue. I also just purchased 8x DVD-R Yuden media....maybe this will help.

Yuden's are very good disks, give it ago, might just be the cause.
