Help - with Slide Card

ok. i got the slide card pro magic swap 3.6. + Faceplate.

i got the new faceplate on. i read how to do it from the site-

Mod-chip.com

when i slide the card i can feel some thing in side sliding- the ps2 will no open that it says that it should open by its self?

i am new to this. will some one help me out.

save yourself the frustration and the broken release pin of using the slide card and get a flip top case if you're hell bent on using a swap method, save yourself even more frustration and long run $$$ by getting a chip.

ok. i want to use swap magic becuase i don't want to open up my ps2 and work on the inside. i wan tto us this disc. like it says it works.

i got it to open now.

now when i burn the game. it says Not a valid PS2 Disc ? in blue-

can some one help me -

it's failing authentication, sounds like you aren't opening the tray correctly and the PS2 knows the tray has been opened and it then does another authentication check on the disc installed. with enough use of the slide card, you'll be opening the console to work on the lock/slide pin on the DVD drive before to long anyways.

ok you swap the disc when it says insert disc and then stick the slide card in and move it to the right then u pull it out switch the disc and push it back in slowly as far as u can then put the slide card back in u should feel it in a tight spot and then push to ur left so it will close then you press a button on ur controler and the game should load if you burned it right.
