I have a Slimline NTSC PS2. I want to be able to play PAL games also. I was told with the Matrix, I could play PAL games in full screen. Is this possible? Will I be able to go back to playing NTSC afterwards? Thanks!!

Yes if you get a genuine Infinity chip, it's able to force carrier to NTSC or PAL.

Thanks for the reply. So, I press Triangle & Circle and choose "Force NTSC" and then my PAL games should play in full screen and my NTSC games will still play too? TIA

most of the time yes. some games like Call of Duty 3 recently don't function correctly with a forced carrier. even with the game being NTSC it has issues when forced NTSC so you need to simply turn the carrier off on that game. if you have a game that doesn't boot correctly then try different settings and 99.9% of the time you can get it to play perfectly.

Thank you very much KC36330!! I am going to give it a go. Oddly enough, the first PAL game I tried to play was Call of Duty 3. :)
