i know this is the same question being asked everywhere, but my house got broken into last week and they stoled my 360, i had a hitachi drive witch i flashed my self with xcecuter 360usb, and used latest birdy firmware, very very easy. anyways i went out lookin for another hitachi to buy, but got stuck with a samsung please tell me how to flash it i am begging i dont quite understand the tutorials, i miss my 360 so much and all my beautyfull hd games!
First of all, if you bought the 360 brand new and its a Sammy, I am guessing you will have been lumbered with the MS28 drive. Either way, open up your box, look at the sticker on top of your Sammy drive, and find out what F/W you have.
thanx for reply , i am at work right now i will open 360 when i get home, also if it helps i tryed to get the oldest version of the 360 it was manufactured in april 06* also can you give me an idea on what to do if its ethier m25 or m28 thanx u guys r the best
April 06 should be a MS25. If thats the case, you will need to find out which onboard Sata chipset you have if any.Check under control panel - device manager
