I got word that one of my local Wal-marts is getting 8 PS3's on Friday and I need to know when the delivery trucks arrive. Time of day and when they actually would hit the floor. I would like to get there early to make sure I get one. I already bought Resistance and Need For Speed Carbon and I can't wait to play them. Any info would be appreciated.

There is no way to guarantee that Wal-Mart will even get 1 of the PS3's. So, the word you got may or may not be accurate.

Obviously, when its delivered, it will be logged into Wal-Mart's inventory and put in a secure place to sell to customers.

Best thing to do is wait. Eventually, there will be enough supply to meet the demand. But if you must, camping out is the only way (if Wal-Mart still allows that).
UPDATE:
I talked to the manager and they couldn't confirm that they were getting them, but they said if they do get them, they will arrive UPS or Fed-EX on Fridays this month. They told me the time that UPS arrives daily so I'm going to try and be there an hour or two before that. They have 4 people still waiting on rain checks, but if they get even 5 I got a good chance of getting one. I also heard that EB Games is supposed to get 2-4 on that same Friday, but those guys at that store are liars and wouldn't tell me even if they did get one. I know it's a slim chance but it's only a 20 minute drive so it's worth it.
