Hey guys im new here and I was reading through the other posts but couldn't find something on this so I'd appreciate the help. Alright I am wanting to buy something so that I can play psnes or other emulators on my ps2. Is the swap disc right for this?

Yip swap magic 3.6+ works all good.
Ive tested genesis, snes and nes and works all good.

thanks a ton man! Also I was wondering a few other things. 1. Is there a special format needed to play back-ups with a swap disc? 2. It says you can use usb for things. How would that work?

1: If your talking about playing backup ps2 games. Then no special format is needed, just do a straight image copy of the disc. Then burn it on top brand medias not cheap stuff. unless u want to go online or play DVD-9 games then you will need to do some patching etc.

2: U can put homebrew programs onto a usb stick and run them using swap magic. (media players, FTP, usbadvance, hdloader etc.)
