ok, the file that you burn is .iso i think you extracted the iso and got these files just open dvddrypter and load the iso file and burn it at 4x make sure your not using cheap dvd-rs. becuase they likely will skip or not work at all.

well actually what is included in the pic are the files of an extracted (busted) ISO of the game and unless compiled into a bootable image file to burn, and they must be added in the correct order, it will NOT work regardless of what disc you burn it to.

from your 'main folder' right click on the first file (it's .rar, not .r01/.r02/etc)and select 'extract' you can select extract here to have it in the same folder or extract files to have it in a different location. the file it extracts is the .img file you need to burn. load that file into your burning softeare and click burn.

if you'll go back and read my previous post and follow it, you'll burn it correctly, you don't need to unassociated WinRAR and ISO files, it's un-necessary.

well it is sorta necessary, for most people at least, otherwise he/she wouldnt be in the position there in,
if you dont untick the iso tab in WinRAR,after extracting, you will have the image you are looking for,but it will still have the WinRAR icon, thus the reson why most people make the mistake of extracting it again, hence why hackerdog has the .img and the iop files
which is wrong
@hackerdog
you have again extracted the contents of the game
do not try and burn the .img file, its just a file from the game

read through this,

unfortunately you are wrong, when extracting the torrent you'll get a .img or .iso file, they are one and the same, the .img is a default MAC file and .iso is a Windows based file. they can freely be exchanged, you can charge the .img to .iso and vise versa. most updated burning software supports both file extensions.

BURN THE .img FILE.

yes,you do that my friend, and if you manage to burn the IOPRP***.img file you found like KC suggested,i will eat my hat,my shoes,my socks, and why not,my old Y fronts, and upload it onto you-tube,so you can all watch
hows that sound?
@KC,you should really read what people post, and the information they give, and not make rash judgements.
i guess once you read the whole thread properly, you will realise what you said, was the incorrect advice :)

@ the Almighty Hursty

so it seams you've misconstrued my previous post, the you are wrong was in reference to your comments about WinRAR being a necessity to unassociate with a .iso file. it's completely unnecessary. i told the original poster to unzip the torrent, unzipping the torrent gives a .img/.iso file, they are one and the same with absolutely no difference in format they simply have the last 2 letters of their file extensions as different letters but it's meaningless.

as stated already in this thread, IF you right click on the first file of the torrent (be it .rar or .r00 however it was compiled) and select the option to 'extract here' (if you want the image in the same folder) or 'extract files' (if you want the image some place else) and when it reaches 100% progress of extracting that image file be it an .iso/.img/.bin you burn that very image. it doesn't get much simpler and has nothing at all to do with the association of WinRAR to whatever file type.

erm ok then, lets go through it

1)when did i say it was a necessity to un-assocaite WinRAR with iso's?...i didnt, even though it is a good idea

2)you are wrong in telling him to burn the .img file, which you are believe is the actual image of the game

3)
Quote:
yeah i have .img in the iop folder so i olny burn that???? or al the other things too??
4)the above statement (3) refers to the IOPRP***.img, and not the .img extension you are thinking

5)the above 4 statements are facts, trust me on that one.

and as for the calling me "almighty",well its nice that you think that way,but i can see that it was sarcasim, and thats just plain stupid.
however, your the one getting in a fluster, all because you didnt read and understand the posters problem.
and its obvious you do not understand the make up of a ps2 image, because if you did,you would know that the IOPRP***.img,is simply a file from the contents of the game.
dont you think, that if i thought he had the image, that i would have advised him to just burn it?

if you want to carry this on,then go for it,but remember, bad attitudes here are not tolerated.

@ hackerdog
sorry but i am done with this thread, listen to KC,and burn the IOPRP.img,or at least try to.
good luck
