plug harddrive and network adapter together, it's a direct connection even a child could figure out.

slip the network slot cover off the PS2 console, again a child could figure this one out.

push the network adapter and hard drive into the slot with the harddrive going in the hole in the console first (a child might have difficulty here but doubtful)

the network adapter pretty much self aligns and you then take a coin and secure it with the screws provided in the network adapter..

if this is that difficult to you, you're going to have one hell of a time figuring out anything at all to do with the HD Loader.

WINHiip is by and far superior to using the consoles DVD drive or LAN for installation of images to the harddrive. let's hope you know how to connect it to your PC.

it's pretty self explanatory, after launch you have to select the drive from the drop down menu. if the drive isn't PS2 formatted it'll let you know and you can format it. then click add images and select the ones you want to install, you can also select options to set the desired mode if known and then load the images.

Hey. I just bought the adapter but no harddrive. The guy at Video Games Etc. said that I didn't need a harddrive unless I was playing FFXII or something else... Is this true or do I need a hard drive? Any replies sometime soon would be greatly appreciated...

you can play most games off the harddrive if you have a quality modchip or any of the harddrive loaders but never tell that to the clerk at a store.

Lol, I agree. Thanks for the reply, it was quick. We did eventually figure out our problem on getting it to work. It was my stupidity, really... I never thought to remove the little sticker. -_-' There was the ethernet jack I needed, lmao. I can be rather retarded at times... Only reason we found the piece of sh*t was because the sticker caught on my sleeve and removed itself. Sat there for five minutes going over why I didn't try that the first time... Anywho, I'm rambling. Thanks for the help, and I wont tell him a thing.

Draconi.

PS If you ever need help with anything, yourself... You can ask, I may just have an answer. Especially if it's actually computer related.
