Use either Nero Vision or ConvertXtoDVD.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Where did you get them from? Odds are good that there is some sort of DRM on them. In any case, Roxio should have an option to make a Video-DVD a.k.a. DVD-Video. I haven't used Roxio in years so I don't know. Simply take the VIDEO_TS folder from the downloaded movie (or the VOB, IFO, and BUP files) and drag them to the disc. If you have a disabled version of Roxio - the kind they they often provide with drives - then your best bet is to grab a demo copy of Nero, which is pretty straightforward. If it works for you, then buy it.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

aprilmc the movie that you downloaded from the pay site won't copy to disk right? on the site there should be a guide for burning to disk, if the site allowe's that as part of the user agreament, that site might not let you do that, some of the pay sites just let you view the movie, and not let you put it on a disk, what format is the movie in? also does the movie have to be played on a certin player? maby one that the site let's you download, also you might get a hold of the sites support, also what is the name of the site? and how much does it cost? and if the site says that you can burn to disk, and they won't give you any support, i would get my money back, also this forum is for users who want to back up thier dvd to disk with DVD Shrink, so you won't have to shrink your movie, need some more info on the problem so we can help ok? good luck, happy burning have a nice day
