is there a faster way to convert AVI to dvd?
im currently using convertxtodvd.

No, ConvertXtoDVD is the fastest, in my opinion. I have used that and WINAvi and based on qulaity compared to speed, ConvertXtoDVD is better. So it's faster, considering the qulaity of video conversion you get.
WinAVI might be a bit faster, but not as good of as converter.

I can convert & burn a DVD AVI (700mb) in one hour. Which takes longer? Burning with ConvertX or conmverting with ConvertX?

and another problem is that it kills the pc aswell so i cant use it while im converting

For converting speed issues, It's based on your PC specs. My PC also locks up (CPU 100%(ish)) when converting. Lol :-(

what does the link show you?
and is there anyway to let you actually let you use the computer? when converting videos?
