My ps2 is playing up, it dosent load games i get a Read Disc Error, and i try again and it loads to the playstation 2 logo and then goes bak to the main memory card screen, it shows a disc but when i click it says disc read error, iv tried cleaning the lens and adjustin the white disc thing but nothing works, i saw something on adjusting the voltage but the instructions didnt match my ps2 version, im not sure which versuin it is but it has 8 screws on the bottom and when i pull the top cover off the reset and eject buttons aint attatched to the top, its attatched to the base.
i also have a flip top,
it wont load backups or original games, but all my games work fine on my mates console but not on mine.
Please help me.

and i have tried a search and tried everything i have found but it still dont work, some times it dont say disc read error now, its just says reading disc.... for ever.????? help please

and its a fat ps2

Hi there, i have the same problem i can play music but it won't read PS2 games... and i did the same clean /ajust/blah, blah, anybory help me please. Do i need to replace the lens ?
